Kathy Upchurch, National President of The Gold Star Wives, was in San Diego and gave us the chance to interview her.  Kathy discussed the roll of the Gold Star Wives and helping other wives and families get the proper assistance that they need,  In most cases the wives and families of our fallen heroes are not given the assistance they should receive from the government and it falls to organiztions like the Gold Star Wives to help the families out. An excellent interview of interest to all military families.

Tim Jordn, retired USMC, discusses his time as a drill instructor, and his life in the Marine Corps.  Discusses pros and cons of what is happening with our Iraq Warriors today.  Discussion about what kind of benefits and medical our heroes are receiving and not receiving and why it is important for us to treat our Warriors and fheir families then we have done in the past.  It is a debt of honor that has to be paid by all of us for the blood and lives shed to keep us free.  An interview you will want to listen to.

Debbie Lee is a Gold Star Mom and the mother of the first Seal, Marc Alan Lee, killed in action in Iraq on August 2, 2006.  Debbie was in town for a Memorial Service at Fort Rosecrans for Marc along with many of the Seal Team.  Debbie also shares with us her year she has had and the many wonderful things that have happened to her.  A very upbeat Mom who takes great pride in being the Mom of a hero and the principles he believed in.  An excellent interview you will not want to miss nor the surprises she shares along the way.

John Kaskurs and Linda LaPorte from the Interfaith Community Services and the Veterans services that are offered by Interfaith.  John Kaskurs is a Vietnam veteran who went from business to being of the H.U.B. in San Diego.  H.U.B. equals homeless, unemployed and broke.  John went through Interfaith Community Services and ended up working for them and helping other veterans get off the street.  The programs help many veterans and the interview is well worth listening to.
